Dennis points back to his teenage years as the start of his faith in Christ. After listening to Billy Graham and reading a book by Bill Bright, he began to understand his need for a savior. After serving as an elder for a church plant in the late 1980s, Dennis began to realize that ministry was the work God was preparing for him. Since then, he has served in various ministries and church contexts. Currently, his ministry is focused on pastoral visits, outreach, and various teaching opportunities. Dennis, and his wife, Lisa, have 2 adult children and live in West Babylon, NY.
Ean R. McClelland
Ean’s faith journey highlights the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. It was out of the drug lifestyle that God saved him and called him into full-time ministry. Since that time, he has passionately pursued Jesus as his savior and Lord. This burning desire to reach others led Ean to go to school to become a pastor. As he’s nearing completion of that degree, he’s accepted a call to pastor at an inner city church in Minneapolis, MN. Though originally from western Wisconsin, Ean currently resides in Minneapolis.
Aaron D. Cole
Aaron came to faith in Jesus as a child though the Sunday School Ministry at his church. Since those early days, he’s always been involved in ministry in some way, shape, or form. He attended a Christian school (1st grade through 12th grade) and was always open to letting the Holy Spirit use him. As he continued on to college, he was asked to become the children’s pastor at his church. This opportunity, for him, solidified his calling into full time ministry. This has led to many different opportunities to share the love of Christ to kids and families in several different ministry contexts. Aaron and his wife, Melanie, have three children and reside in Shakopee, MN.
John C. Christie
John placed his faith in Christ after watching an episode of the 700 Club. At that time, John, through the work of the Holy Spirit, began to experience the freedom from the vices of this world that had plagued him previously. From that moment, he dove into learning and growing in Christ. While a part of a bible study, he felt God’s call into ministry. After an initial hesitation, he did respond and has been serving the LORD in some capacity ever since. Whether it be helping plant churches, serving in various ministries, or sharing the hope of Christ as a Firebase missionary, John is committed to serving the LORD and proclaiming the Gospel. John and his wife, Joann, have two children and currently make their home in Blaine, MN.
John J. Vanden Heuvel
John grew up in a Christian home. It was not until the age of nineteen, while attending basic training, that his faith became real to him. While there, being cutoff from family and friends, he turned to Jesus as his Refuge and Comforter. It is, in part, because of how God comforted him during his time at basic training, that a desire to impact other soldiers began to grow in him as well. This has led him to pursue Army chaplaincy. John and his wife, Alyssa, live in Bristol, WI.
