Welcome New Members

Welcome New Members!

One of the greatest privileges I have working at IMF is getting to know each applicant for membership. These individuals are doing some remarkable things for the Gospel, and I am so encouraged by their stories.

We wanted to share with you, periodically, a little bit about each of these new members and what God is doing in their ministry.

Adam Bloomfield 2018.jpg

IMF Commissioned Minister

Adam doesn’t recall a time when he didn’t know Jesus. Raised in the church, his faith’s foundation has held him fast during various trials in life. It was while working as an Army contractor in Germany that he began to develop a relationship with a chaplain. This relationship spurred a desire in Adam to serve soldiers as a chaplain himself. Though life’s journey sometimes goes in a different direction than he planned, his faith in Christ is unwavering. Adam lives in San Antonio, TX and recently became engaged.

Elizabeth Rains 2018.jpg

IMF Special Ministry License in Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care

Elizabeth grew up in a Christian home, but it wasn’t until a trip to Washington, DC during college that God really got hold of her heart. Since then, Elizabeth has been faithful in serving where she hears God’s voice lead her. This has brought her to pursue military chaplaincy. Her husband, Alan, has been a major source of encouragement as she pursues this calling. After spending several years ministering at Fort Hood, Elizabeth now lives in Killeen, TX, where she serves as a volunteer at Killeen Church of the Nazarene.

As a student of ROC School of Urban Ministry, and Liberty University, Sean has shown himself as a proven learner, who applies what he’s learned in the classroom to his daily ministry life. He and his wife, Ashley, have 3 children (Kingsley, Graylynn, and Norah) and live in Glen Allen, VA.

IMF Ordained Minister

Lane, despite growing up in a Christian home, was 22 when he gave his life to Jesus. It was soon after that he began to sense a calling to teach others about God's love. A graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, MA, Lane has a rich history of ministry, both as a volunteer and in full-time pastoral ministry. Lane currently serves as a Teaching Pastor at The Worship Center in Berlin, MD.  Lane and his wife, JoAnne, have one son (Kyle) and live in Delmar, MD.

Sungwho Hong.jpg

IMF Ordained Minister

Growing up in Korea, it wasn't until Sungwho experienced God's healing that he dedicated his life to Jesus. A few years later, at the invitation of a friend, he began serving in youth ministry. After graduating from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C., Sungwho made his way to Vancouver, BC Canada where he lives with his wife Jin Joo Joung, and serves as an Assistant Pastor at Amen Church.
