Kevin & Kim Coe
While on sabbatical in the summer of 2016 in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, God led Kevin and Kim Coe to Cornerstone Community Church. Cornerstone was bilingual speaking church plant that was barely six months old. They quickly felt God’s call to this ministry and it was confirmed when senior pastor Manny Ortiz invited them to come back as missionaries. Jesus said to take the Gospel to all nations, but the amazing thing is that the nations are coming to this part of the world. The church is made up of people from the Mexico, United States, Canada, Great Britain, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, and Argentina. It has also quickly grown to over 100 people in less than two years.
Kevin has a Master of Arts in Religion from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has been both a youth pastor and senior pastor during the past 30 years, but throughout that time has participated in countless short-term mission trips, mainly to Mexico. Kim is a registered dental hygienist and has taken part in many of these trips as well. Kevin will serve as an associate pastor in charge of outreach and compassion ministry to the poor of this fast-growing city. Kim will help lead the women’s ministry at Cornerstone.
