Doug Wood was called by the Lord in August, 2001 to facilitate discipleship as a volunteer layperson. He completed a B.S. degree in Ministries at the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, MN in November, 2005. He became a licensed IMF minister in December, 2005. He then incorporated Twelve Disciples Ministries (TDM) in March, 2012, serving as its Executive Director.
Doug believes that there is a robust need for transformation in today’s personal relationships. The ultimate goal of TDM is to create better relationships, helping them to become more like Jesus in thought and deed to please God.
Doug has a deep love for Jesus Christ and His people. He is passionate about empowering them to realize their potential in Jesus.
Doug is a ministry architect who thinks in systems. He thrives in a team environment with expertise in the areas of inspiring and organizing teams in order to accomplish the ministry of the church.
Doug leads by example, having a disciplined Christian life exhibited by a positive attitude, healthy family relationships, a vibrant devotional life and personal evangelism.
Doug is a servant leader characterized by humility and the willingness to do what God asks of him.
